Dr Aman Kumar is a consultant and specialist in the field of Phacoemulsification, Vitreo- Retinal  diseases at AKIO.

 

•  He has done his MBBS from University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. 

• MS Ophthalmology from PGI, Chandiagrh, where he was the gold medalist of his batch. 

• Did his training in Vitreo-Retina, Uvea and Cataract surgery at Dr. R.P. Centre, AIIMS, Delhi.

• He has performed more than 500 complex Vitrectomies and 1000 Phacoemulsification surgeries.

• His research study won the best free paper award in the American academy of Ophthalmology conference, USA in 2018 and 2019.

• He has more than 50 publications in various National & International Journals. 

• He is the Co-editor in the book ‘Retina: Medical & Surgical Management’.

• Dr Aman is the associate editor of Retina: Medical and Surgical Management, Edition 2. 

• Life time Member of All India Ophthalmology society, Delhi Opthalmic Society and American academy of Ophthalmology.
